The vacuum ball valve is a valve specially used in the vacuum system, mainly used to control the gas flow in the vacuum system. The working principle of the vacuum ball valve is similar to that of the ordinary ball valve, which controls the flow of the medium by rotating the ball. Vacuum ball valves usually have excellent sealing performance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance to adapt to the working environment and requirements of the vacuum system.


Vacuum ball valves usually include the following components:


1. Valve body: equivalent to the main body of the valve, generally made of metal material, used to support and fix other components, while bearing the pressure of the internal medium.


2. Valve cover: connected above the valve body to fix the internal parts of the valve for easy maintenance and repair.


3. Spool: It is the core part of the vacuum ball valve, usually a sphere, which controls the flow of the medium by rotating, and is generally made of corrosion-resistant materials.


4. Sealing ring: located around the spool to ensure the sealing performance when the valve is closed, usually made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials.


5. Operating lever: connected to the spool, used for manual or electric operation of the valve, control the opening and closing of the spool.


6. Handle: It is connected to the operating rod for manual operation of the valve, usually with a mark to facilitate the operator to control the switch of the valve.


7. Pressure relief device: Some vacuum ball valves are equipped with pressure relief devices to release internal pressure when closing the valve to avoid valve damage.



Vacuum ball valve scenario:


1. Laboratory and scientific research fields: Vacuum ball valves are often used in vacuum systems in laboratories and scientific research fields to control gas flow and adjust pressure to meet experimental needs.


2. Industrial production: In industrial production, vacuum ball valves are usually used in vacuum equipment, vacuum packaging machines, vacuum furnaces and other equipment to control the gas flow and pressure in the vacuum system.


3. Medical equipment: In medical equipment, vacuum ball valves are often used in suction devices, suction bottles and other equipment to control the flow and pressure of suction gas.

The vacuum ball valve controls the gas flow through the sphere (spool) inside the valve. When the vacuum ball valve is closed, the spool will completely close the channel of the valve and prevent the flow of gas, thus achieving a closed state. In the closed state, a closed space is formed inside the valve, that is, a vacuum state.


By rotating the operating lever or electric device, the spool can be rotated to open the valve and allow gas flow. When the valve is opened, gas enters the valve and fills the space in the valve and pipe, thus breaking the vacuum state.


Therefore, the vacuum ball valve is not to create a vacuum in a special way, but to achieve the closure and flow of gas by controlling the sphere inside the valve, so that a vacuum state can be formed in the pipeline system when needed. The design and material of the vacuum ball valve usually ensure good sealing performance in the closed state, so as to effectively maintain the vacuum state of the pipeline system.



The following matters need to be noted when using vacuum ball valves:


1. Correct installation: Ensure that the vacuum ball valve is correctly installed in the pipeline system, the opening and closing direction of the valve is consistent with the direction of fluid flow, and the valve is in the correct position.


2. Correct operation: When operating the vacuum ball valve, follow the operating instructions to avoid damage or leakage of the valve caused by excessive force or improper operation.


3. Maintenance: Regularly check the sealing performance and operation of the vacuum ball valve, clean and lubricate the valve parts in time to ensure the normal operation of the valve.


4. Suitable temperature: Select the suitable vacuum ball valve material according to the temperature requirements of the working environment to avoid the performance of the valve due to too high or too low temperature.


5. Prevent impact: Avoid impact or vibration in the pipeline system, so as not to affect the sealing performance and stability of the vacuum ball valve.


6. Prevent overload: Avoid high pressure in the pipeline system, exceeding the bearing range of the vacuum ball valve, so as not to cause valve damage or leakage.


7. Regular inspection: Check the working status of the vacuum ball valve regularly. If any abnormal situation is found, repair or replace it in time to ensure the safe operation of the system.
